Stories from Runnas
The Lilac Bloomsday 12K, commonly referred to as Bloomsday, is an annual road race held in Spokane, Washington, and is one of the largest timed races in the world. Established in 1977, this event draws participants from all over, offering a challenging course that winds through downtown Spokane and features the notorious "Doomsday Hill." The race not only celebrates athleticism but also coincides with Spokane's Lilac Festival, making it a vibrant blend of community spirit, sport, and springtime celebration.
