Runna Quitter’s Day Challenge Terms & Conditions
Runna Competition Giveaway
The Host of this Competition is The Run Buddy Ltd. (71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, England, WC2H 9JQ) (the “Host”).
There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this Competition.
By entering the Competition, entrants indicate their agreement to be bound by, and understanding of, these terms and conditions.
The Competition is not open to the immediate families of the Host and its affiliates, companies or agents, or other persons professionally connected with the Competition.
Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or late entries will not be accepted.
How to Enter
To enter the Competition, participants must:
- Complete a run using the Runna app on Thursday 9th January (“Quitters Day”); and
- Comment on the official Quitters Day Giveaway post within the Runna In-App Community (“IAC”) with a screenshot of their completed run clearly showing the date.
Any run counts, including walk-runs, easy runs, first sessions, or return runs.
Entry Period
The Competition is open from 12:01am (GMT) on January 9th and closes at 11:59pm (GMT) on January 9th (the “Entry Period”).
The Host reserves the right to extend or amend the Entry Period at its discretion.
Prize
One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
The prize consists of:
- One running watch with a maximum value of £500 / $650/ 570 EUROS ; and
- One full set of Runna apparel (the “Prize”).
The Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
Winner Selection & Notification
The winner will be selected at random and announced in the Runna In-App Community (IAC) on January 10th.
The Host will contact the winner directly to arrange fulfilment. The Prize will be supplied within one (1) month following receipt of the winner’s details.
If the winner is based outside of the United Kingdom, alternative fulfilment arrangements may be made at the Host’s discretion.
General
The Host reserves the right to exclude any entries which it considers, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate, unrelated, offensive, or fraudulent, or if it believes there has been an attempt to manipulate or tamper with the operation of the Competition.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Host reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Competition, temporarily or permanently, without prior notice.
The Host does not accept responsibility for network, computer, software, or technical failures of any kind and has no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.
Liability
Entrants acknowledge that athletic activities (including running or participation in this Competition) carry inherent risks of property damage, bodily injury, or death.
By entering, entrants agree, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to:
- Voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with participation; and
- Release the Host, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, representatives, employees, partners, and licensors (the “Released Parties”) from any liability connected with participation in the Competition or fulfilment of the Prize.
The Host is not liable for any accident, illness, injury, or force majeure incidents during participation in the Competition.
Final Provisions
Entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Host, which are final in all matters relating to the Competition. No correspondence will be entered into.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of England, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
